Stayed here on a recent work-related trip and couldn't have made a better choice. Let me tell you-Phoenix in July seems only rivaled by Death Valley, so for anyone with an ounce of common sense you're basically moving from one spot with AC to another and no farther. The Palomar was pleasant with a great staff who are there to answer your every need. Located right downtown, it's within walking distance to pretty much anywhere you need to get to. The rooftop bar/pool area is beautiful with a great view of the mountains in the distance and built in water misters to keep you somewhat cool. The complimentary access to EOS gym is an excellent bonus for those of us who prefer working out in a real gym and not a hotel gym that consists of a treadmill, bike, balance ball and dumbbells that top out at 30 lbs. Overall, this was a great stay and the next time I decide to stay in Phoenix proper, I'll look no further than Hotel Palomar.
