I received my first order this morning (they deliver to your doorstep quietly during the night). I ordered a small mixed box and received quite a nice variety (onions, red peppers, potatoes, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, an avocado, a cucumber, a zucchini, a mango, some tomatoes, oranges, grapefruits, and 6 pears) . The first thing I noticed was the smell. You could actually smell the fresh produce, which was really nice! I did have 2 pears that were really bruised up so I called and was easily and immediately credited (it was nice that wasn't a hassle- they were eager to credit me). Other than that, the order was beautiful. I have wanted to try a produce delivery service for a long time, but I was holding out. I am not sure I can afford this on a weekly basis, but I do intend on ordering again and I would say this was a very positive experience. It is important to know, this produce is ORGANIC also. And FRESHER produce means more nutritional value! They also have a order preference section on the site so you can check or uncheck particular produce you DO NOT want, which is nice. I loved getting the box, but my ONLY hesitation is the price fitting my budget. It's more expensive than shopping on your own, of course, but the quality of the organic produce was way above what I see at Fry's, Safeway, and even Sprouts.... which I usually have to rummage through. Like I said, not sure I can swing the costs every week, but I would say it is DEFINITELY worth it if your budget allows!
