The wife and I have been to almost every major furniture retailer that sells new furniture in town. This is the only one we have purchased from. Our reasons: they had a more varied furniture selection, and had lots of modern furnishings; the staff was the most friendly and least pushy of all but one other store we've been to; the delivery was efficient and they did all the set up of the complete bedroom suite we purchased; their prices are a tad lower than other stores in town. As Prince mentioned, you pretty much have to order everything and wait for it. We've been to a bunch of stores since we bought our bedroom suite, and have only seen the same furniture at one other store, and it was about $250 more than we paid.
We mostly do our furniture shopping at the consignment stores, but I'd think we would buy from Lawerence's again. At that time, I would reconsider my rating, as with furniture stores, repeat purchases is really the test of the quality of the store.
