About two weeks ago, our sketch comedy group had the opportunity to record with Jim here at Soundwaves. We aren't trying to sell our tracks on iTunes or anything, merely wanted to get a collection of our greatest hits together to sell as a fundraiser. For this reason, we were extremely lucky to be referred to Jim through one of my co-workers. After only a couple of hours, we just knew we were in the right place, Jim's love of the arts is apparent. He is a philanthropist in the truest sense of the word, and he is incredible at what he does. If you book a session with him, you get his expertise in recording, mixing and mastering. His studio is comfortable and even has an isolation booth. Due to having his studio in his home, he is able to charge more than reasonable rates for his talent, and thus help a larger percentage of local talent. I highly recommend his services and will always sing his praises!
