Had an appointment with Empire (Charlotte NC) for a full installation including stairs. I chose Empire because I had used them several times before without any problems. This time when the workers came and I showed them where I wanted laminates installed they told me my stairs were not included. They called their boss Senor Carlos, I explained to him that my stairs were inclued - he said it was not. I told him that they would lose a good customer... and he said that's fine! I had already gone over with my salesman who I finally was able to contact through customer service, he sounded half asleep and had amnesia about the stairs. The workers sat around for 45 minutes debating.
