The worst auto service department I've ever dealt with. (Backstory: we have purchased/leased 5 Hyundais from Hyundai Motors since 2012, and got 2 new cars from ABC in late 2015) So when the AC stopped working in our 2016 elantra, we took it in, and also requested an oil change. The service guy, Devon, tells us that regarding the AC system, it would cost $0 if the problem was under warranty, or cost $135 if the problem was a need to replace the freon. Okay, so we signed the agreement for the services. We receive a call the next day telling us that the problem was not under warranty and that it would cost over $960 to repair the A/C problem! But if we did not want the service done by them, we would have to pay $135 for the "diagnostic service fee". What!?! We were never told about a diagnostic service fee and that was not on the signed work agreement either. Regardless they refused to waive the $135 service fee, even talking with the person who claimed to be the service department assistant manager did not provide any better assistance. They REFUSED to release our car unless we pay that. Then today, they tell us that because our tires are bad, REFUSE to release the car unless we pay for new set of tires from them plus installation! OMG I have never had such an experience, the worst treatment of loyal customers. I will never again go to ABC Hyundai for service nor to purchase/lease a vehicle ever again.
