Asked HD for a quote on laminated flooring & installation since they had a sale on installation. Someone came out to measure and all seemed OK until I got the quote. Glad I got it by email because I was sitting down. They itemized everything down to almost the number of brads they would use. The sale price for the install was listed and so was an extra 4 digit amount for labor (?). They included a $79 delivery charge which I expected but it included an additional fee for a second person AND a $1.50 charge for EACH box ON the truck. The whole quote seemed like a joke. Best yet were the dozens of phone calls and emails about accepting the quote. Calls came from at least three different area code numbers. Was not happy. I was so happy with the whole mess that I tore their credit card up.
