I went here for a quick drink before dinner at Campagnolo, and I was really sad that we didn't have more time to stay. While spending hours on end in Montauk on an empty stomach is probably not a good investment in tomorrow-me, I probably would have indulged if we hadn't booked a reservation in advance.
In any event, this is just one of those bars that you want to start spending all your time in right away. It's cozy, they have a great cocktail list and they have Negronis on tap (uh-maz-ing). Service was friendly. This is something that I've never said in a review before, but I think the servers were really good at reading how much they should interact with each group. Some people wanted to chat with them a bit more, while others were clearly having more intimate conversations.
In any event, I will most definitely be back. Though, next time, I'll make sure that it's for after dinner when I have a good solid foundation on which to develop my intoxication.
