This is the best downtown grocery. I come here regular because it is so close, maybe twice a week.
There is a TD bank with no line upstairs. You can buy coffee beans and i think they will make the coffee for you. The prices are marked clearly and they regularly have samples although its not much. They used to have cheese samples which were the best in front of the deli.
Generally the prices are above normal as expected living downtown. I used to think they were expensive until I went to the sobeys on harbourfront. They have good sale items and once you adjust to their layout.. life is good.
Also, i am not a fan of returning or having to correct receipts.. but their customer service desk is great. No questions.. you tell them your problem and they will help you. Best is they reimburse you in cash and there is generally no line.
