I have waited a while to post this review because I was optimistic that my issues would satisfactorily be resolved. Unfortunately they have not. I'll start with the good. The dealership is clean and modern, with plenty of inventory. The test drive and sales process were easy and actually fun. But who is surprised that a dealer would be good at taking your money? That's where the good ended. As usual, when I purchased the car I got a temporary tag for 45 days. I have never waited longer than 2 weeks to get the full registration and plate tabs from ADOT, so after 3 weeks I called a plate services place to ask what was up. They said the DMV had not put the car in my name yet and the process hadn't even been started. Hmm I thought, the dealer must have gotten my stuff lost in the mix. Not a huge deal. So I called the title department and they assured me over and over they had sent *everything* and that it was in process. Okay, I waited another seven days. Another call to plate services and they said nothing was processing. So I called my salesman, and that's when I started to get angry. Jim promised me over and over that everything had been sent it. In fact he even went so far as to make up a story that ADOT was running slow and I was one of something like 20 customers who have called with the same issue. This smelled of BS, but I didn't say anything and just made him promise me to follow up with title to make sure everything was sent. Fast forward to three days before my temp tag expired. I gave him another call. Told him I had talked to ADOT again, and they told me that none of my finance paperwork had been sent and they had been waiting on the dealer to send the rest in. Jim began getting defensive, and I told him I didn't care who's fault it was, I just needed them to do their job and the paperwork. He promised me it would be done. It wasn't. No surprise there. I called him yesterday, the day my temporary tag expired (and I'm out of town, mind you, so this is doubly annoying). He promised me that at midnight title would send an extension to me via email, as they can only send one once the temp tag had already expired. Well of course that didn't happen, and after another call to the dealer today I learned that title is closed on the weekends. Well now I'm stuck in Yavapai county without a valid registration and no one to communicate with. Suffice to say, I am finally pissed off, and that takes a lot. This is simple stuff to do, but whether it be negligence, hurt pride, or incompetence, Audi of Chandler and Jim failed to get it done. I will not be buying another car from Audi of Chandler, which is a shame for them because my family buys a lot of Audis.
