Pricey and too rich. As other people have mentioned, I thought that our dining experience would be romantic, flavorful and intimate in a similar fashion like Monarch Cafe. Similar pricing and style of eating, but Sel doesn't hold a flame in comparison. I wanted so badly to like this place, especially since I picked it as the setting for my boyfriend's birthday, however, I was disappointed. Every course tasted like the last. And although my boyfriend and I ordered different items for our fourth course, they tasted the same. I would likely not return as the price point and quality of taste and ambiance is just not there. The plastic, cheap chairs outside are tacky and uncomfortable. The martinis were small. The food was not memorable. And my wallet took a hit. Not worth it.
