I've stayed at the Planet Hollywood once and we had a pretty decent experience, though it was not the best. We stayed a night in Vegas on our way to Utah (road trip to Bryce and Zion canyons) and we stayed at the Planet Hollywood. I had a pretty decent experience. The pool was cool, though it wasn't very big. It was empty when I went, though, so it was pretty cool to just lounge around without a huge crowd or music blasting in my ears. This place used to be the Aladdin hotel and I really miss that... They still have remnants of that in the Desert Passageway, which was kept pretty much the same as it was before. I like the shops through the hotel. It's nice that the shops are also affordable for the average Las Vegas tourist, unlike the shops in other hotels like at the Wynn or Bellagio. In general, this place is a chill hotel and I had a pretty decent experience here. It's also conveniently in the middle of the Las Vegas strip.
