I wish I could give this place less stars. I had seen commercials and was interested in checking them out to see if they took my newly acquired military insurance and what the requirements were. I was already aware my new insurance did not require the six consecutive months of documented medically monitored weight loss attempts, and that there just needed to be a record of previous failed attempts. This would shave months of off the process for me. Being that I had already started under a previous approved physician, I had already established care with a cardiologist, a dietitian, and a physiologist. The person who called me back advised that they wanted to work with both of my insurances, and attempted to get me to go through with the insurance with the more lengthy process. When I asked why considering it was fully covered regardless, she tried to patronize me stating "we just want to get the best deal for our patients". Hun? What's the best deal out of "fully covered & fully covered"? The only difference would be process and procedure. The more questions I asked, the representative would put ask me to hold and would go ask someone else in the room. After this went on for a good 45 minutes the other woman picked up the phone and really didn't have any answers either. They advised they'd call back on Monday. Monday, Tuesday, and all of Wednesday went by. She called me today trying to rush me into an appointment tomorrow. By this time I'd contacted my insurance to confirm their requirements. The assured me they told WLIA no such thing. I was beyond frustrated the woman STILL could not answer my questions. When she stated I was to meet with a nutritionist, I asked her why when I told her I already had one. She said well you still meet with ours. Well, why would my insurance pay for one externally, and one internally? She stated I had to see theirs before and after my "journey". It was at that point I decided I wanted to get off their journey and their books. They are worse than a used car lot. If you can't answer my questions, we can't do business.
