This place is truly a mixed bag. The building is obviously dated, despite an extensive overhaul. Ceilings are very low in many areas, featuring popcorn texture from the 70s. There are velvet ropes for check-in, with a long line and not enough staff. The room initially assigned was occupied! Makes me wonder who could walk into my room. Hmmm. The room itself was average. Nothing fancy or special. It's a bit of a walk from the conference "tower" to the lobby. Pool area is large and spacious, with plenty of seating for those sun-worshipping fools getting skin cancer. The highlights, and they truly were, are the restaurants, which get a separate review. Also, all staff (front desk, casino, cleaning crew) were super friendly. With so many more places to stay in Lost Wages, I don't see myself staying here again.
