Absolutely loved staying here. Flew in for work and it was my first trip to Montreal. Not only was it less expensive than Marriott (usually stay at M for the points), but it was closer to what I would consider the more interesting part of Montreal. Extremely kind and pleasant staff, they shared with me all the areas I could and should go around the hotel. A short 3 minute walk to Saint Paul street and you are in the heart of Old Montreal. Shops and restaurants everywhere. A few more minutes and you are at the Notre Dam Basilica, an absolute must visit. Even though it was chilly out (mid November) it was worth walking just to see everything on foot.
Now onto the hotel room and room service. My room was absolutely incredible. Very clean and well kept, but also very unique layout and design that was very pleasing. My terrace overlooked the city and was truly beautiful. The mattress was a little more firm than I am used to but I was still well rested when I woke up.
From what I understand, each room is quite different so there are no two alike. Looking forward to coming back in a month or so to stay again.
If you are looking to visit as a tourist, there are many attractions within a short walk. The biodome and a few others are only a short 20 minute cab ride. The hotel is well placed and worth the stay for sure.
