I was pretty desperate and had no time to wait for an appointment somewhere else so I decided to chance it at Trade Secrets. I had mixed feelings about coming here because you never know what you're going to get.
I got my hair cut on a Sunday evening about an hour and a half before close, it wasn't busy which was nice. The woman who cut my hair, Shirin, took her time and paid attention to detail. She didn't speak very much, but I enjoy that. This is the best hair cut I've had in years and I will definitely be coming back.
The atmosphere isn't the greatest and I have no doubt that a majority of the time the service isn't the greatest but I am very happy with the results. As I was getting my hair cut another woman was having her hair styled for an evening out by a male stylist. I would have been very angry by his behaviour and lack of focus, regardless of results. As he was doing her hair he was answering texts, picking up his phone, blow drying her hair one handed while playing with his phone with the other.
