I went in today for a mani/pedi, with high hopes based on some of the great reviews on here. I had a loose toenail from an accident earlier and warned the esthetician that it was still attached to the nail bed, and she waved me off (to be perfectly honest I don't think she totally understood what I was saying). As she goes to file, etc, she RIPS across my loose nail and seemed surprised that I reacted. This happened again before it seemed to sink in for her. The whole time she looked like she was having the most miserable day of her life - maybe she was, and I sympathize if that's the case, but even though I expected to hear the estheticians talking amongst each other, I at least hoped for bare minimum customer service. Politeness and attentiveness, to start with. The girl doing my manicure was very sweet, but clipped my cuticles down so much I bled. She also didn't file my nails down evenly. On top of all that, even though the spa was barely half full, I felt like I was being rushed out. The water in the foot bath and the hand soak were both cool. I don't normally write reviews on here, but since I was SO excited based on some of the other reviews, I wanted to share my experience. I will not be going back. I'd rather pay an extra $5 and go down the block.
