My first visit to Taste of Toronto as a recent (re)transplant to this great city. I purchased discounted admission tickets on Groupon (about a $9 saving). I was glad to pay for the admission ticket since I knew this would control crowds and make the experience more refined. I was right, crowds and lines were great and in general was a nice experience. As a vegetarian, my favourite items were polenta fries, smore grilled cheese and the ristorante pizza cafe. The nespresso free iced coffee was awesome and also came with a complimentary cup. There were tons of free samples as well which was nice given the admission price. Parking was a bit of a disaster since Fleet Street P parking was closed to employees only. I would've loved to have taken part in some cooking lessons or watched demos. Overall, great concept and a nice excuse to spend time with friends.
