In town for an interview the next day, I needed a decent place that my current-job-that-pays-dirt finances could afford. BWP Sterling popped up on on the Priceline hit-list, and the rest is history.
This hotel is bare bones. Unlike another reviewer's report, no one accused me of anything, but no one rolled out the red carpet, either. They have continental breakfast, so yay for that, but it's that middle-America diet of breads, syrups, and sugary juices. There's not a thing wholesome about it, not even a lonesome protein. Bring a hardboiled egg on your trip and you'll fare better.
My room was comfortable and clean. However, do choose *which* room you get according to your preference. For example, if you do not wish to hear your neighbors' every whisper, do not accept being placed in a room with adjoining door. My mistake. Also, do not accept a room within striking distance of the front desk chatter and the continental breakfast microwave beepings that begin around 6-killme-a.m.
I wanted to give BWPS 2-stars, but the above problems were my own dumb fault for accepting. My room would have been fine for the hard of hearing or those who hate silence.
Decent room. Decent price. Decent neighborhood with some late-night restaurants (go for the burrito joint some 2 miles away). I forgot to take photos, so someone please get on that.
