Got here at 12:30 AM, door was locked, no answer from the front desk matron after three rings of the bell. Waited under this unnecessarily loud speaker for seven minutes while being eaten by mosquitoes. (I think the desk person is Megan?) When she came down to the desk from the elevator she was vexed (because we apparently woke her up). My husband asked for the water and snack that diamond members receive, and Megan dug through snacks in the other room and grudgingly flipped him some Lorna Doones. She said she didn't know his status (which was still available on the computer screen), and "...am not sure you have these coming, but here you go." (They weren't dipped in gold; they were six dry Lorna Doone cookies). Normally they offer us each a snack and drink, but whatever. Once in the room there were more than a few hairs on the back of the toilet, and three meager, askew toiletries in the bathroom. My suitcase went up on the bench (In case of critters, which normally doesn't occur to me, but this room is just off). I'm giving two stars instead of one, because the beds are comfortable. My advice would be to stay at the Holiday Inn Express just down the way, or get here before Megan's shift starts.
