ALL THE BAD REVIEWS MUST BE FOR LACK OF PLANNING & NO PATIENCE!! I did TWO hours (yes, two hours!) of research beforehand and made lists of things I needed. I even brought more than was required in the case of proof of address. I got there at 7:30 AM and stood by the door until everyone figured out we had to form a line. Consequently, I was #24 and was seen as soon as the doors were opened at 8. A beautifully kind woman who worked there, Wanda (or Wendy) allowed me to leave and get my VIN inspection (station opens at 8) which took 5 minutes and she kindly waited for me instead of having me go back to DMV line purgatory. I had to grab my plates too so remember to bring those in. Overall, the DMV was organized and efficient and Wanda made my trip amazing and quick and dare-I-say POSITIVE!!?? If you're prepared and get there early, you should be out in under two hours or less (if you're near the front of the line). Also I went on a Wednesday. Not sure if that made a difference.
