Yes, it's wildly overpriced - $15 for a chicken sandwich meal with soggy fries. BUT the chicken sammer was not entirely disgusting and partially enjoyable. AND you can take the whole thing to the theatre in a tray and get your munch on. AT least it's not burger king?
You know those first 4 rows of seats right in front of the screen that everyone hates? Well apparently they installed these new kick butt high-back leather seats that recline and so you have all this leg room and get to recline like a boss so that sitting al the way in the front becomes not so depressing any more.
And their guest services are really awesome. I bought tickets on-line and never received my tickets through e-mail. So I printed out my MasterCard statement where Cineplex charged me, and the confirmation message you get when your order is processed and Guest Services printed up replacement tickets in a jiffy. Gold Star for Scotiabank Theatre!
