I practically begged my mom and my sister to do this with me. Both are terrified of heights and I've recently become a bit of a thrill seeker. I bought the tickets a month or two in advance for roughly $75. I really wanted to go at night to see the sunset and the bright city lights. We arrived to Paris and went directly to the escalator for our little adventure. The ride up to the observation deck was smooth and fairly quick, all while being able to watch the strip below you grow further and further away. My mom was a bit panicked and my sister thought she might pass out, but before we knew it, we had reached the top and stepped out to the great views all around us. The good part is that you're allowed to stay as long as you want. You're free to walk around and see all the shiny lights all over town. We spent a food 45 minutes at the top and watched the Bellagio fountain show a couple of times. The observation deck does get a bit crowded at times, but people do move out of the way as well so that everyone is able to take in the view. I'd definitely check this out again, as I love seeing Vegas from up high.
