Went for lunch on a Thursday. Place is located on the back lower level of the Park Road Shopping Center. Felt like it was in a basement. Not my cup of tea. Ordered the classic Fish and Chips - it is supposed to be an English pub. Was very disappointed that the crust on my fish was soggy - yuck! Other menu items included pretty standard burgers and sandwiches along with some more exotic selections like ostrich meatloaf. Desserts were almost non-existent - I tried the chocolate and peanut butter tarte - couldn't taste any peanut butter in it. Skip dessert here. Although one of my companions tried the chocolate pudding served to resemble a Guinness in a glass. No one at our table ordered beer and we didn't get a beverage menu so I can't really comment on the beer and wine selection. The food menu was interesting in that all items on it were priced at $8 each - would make it really easy to split a check if there with a group! Patio seating looked very nice - wished we'd taken advantage of it! The place gets an extra star from me because they appear to be very dog-friendly. One patron had her furry friend with her on the patio (he was very well behaved and laid quietly at her feet) and someone had provided a large bowl of water for him. Location could be difficult for someone with mobility problems - difficulty walking or in a wheelchair. Seems like there are lots of elevation changes and an uneven floor in many spots. Won't cringe if someone suggests it again - but won't rush to go back either.
