I used to eat in the restaurant here fairly often but it's kind of a hit and miss proposition. This place recently had a really bad review from the health department and I haven't been back since.
Back when I was coming here with friends it seemed like the orders were frequently mixed up. Sometimes the food is great, other times not so good. If you go around dinner time expect a very long wait.
True, they have a cheap steak dinner but you can get something equal to or better at most of the casinos.
Ellis Island used to have a nice outdoor BBQ restaurant. Then they moved it inside and it's a pain to get into. You have to arrive at a certain time and get a ticket out of a machine. The restaurant is so small that it fills up almost instantly.
I'd rather go to a big casino or regular restaurant where it's easy to park, you can get seated right away and no hassle to get some food. Sad to say, I won't waste my time or money here anymore.
