Beautiful hotel located just off of Rue St. Catherine (downtown shopping district). They allow earlier check-ins, based on availability. To stay here is a little on the high side, price wise (as Renaissance hotels usually are). The price can be easily be negated by things like Expedia points. There's not really any hotel noise - most of it is negated by the soundproofing in between units; you do hear a bit of street noise from time to time (coming from the windows) depending on what floor where you're staying on.
Valet takes a little while to get the car (not too sure where the cars are located when they are valet parked). The price is $35/night, with unlimited in/out privileges, which is a bargain compared to other hotels in the local area.
