I had never considered myself an athlete. In fact, the only running I had ever done was running away from any sort of physical activity or competitive sport. The thought of picking up weights at the gym was intimidating and did not appeal to me at all. Until I met John Juadines and tried out a class at WADBOD. John opened up the world of WADBOD to me that uses CrossFit as a way to train you into being the best version of yourself. Not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. I have become physically stronger and skilled in fitness but I have also gained mental strength that allows me to push through the workouts and be able to perform better every single day; and not just at the gym but in my every day life. It isn't easy, but what good things in life are easy? We must put in great work and effort to achieve the most rewarding things in life; in order to live the best life. These are the teachings that John instills in his sessions everyday. And I have become a better person because of it. But I couldn't do it alone. WADBOD is made up of some of the greatest people that I have ever met in Las Vegas. Through the support and encouragement of all the members, there is some sort of magic that gets me to push harder and keep going and get just one more rep in. The WADBOD community is a beautiful thing that I am proud and very grateful to be a part of. Everyone is a little different--- some stronger than others, some more skilled at certain exercises than others. But we all come together for each other and help each other out. Whether it's giving pointers on technique or a high-five for encouragement and support. Before WADBOD my life seemed very complacent. Now I get up in the mornings and look forward to the opportunity to workout. The feeling of accomplishment after pushing myself past my limits is indescribable and I have never felt it anywhere else. My future is bright because WADBOD is training me to face my challenges head on, never give up, give it all that I've got, but most importantly to have fun while doing it.
