The Summerlin location is only about 3 minutes from our house, but for some reason we kept forgetting it was there. We finally went for the first time about 4 months ago, and now we can't stop! My go to dish is the BBQ shrimp with the gouda grits instead of rice, lots and lots of their light and fluffy garlic bread for soaking up the sauce, and a crab cake that is pan fried to perfection and isn't overwhelmed with bread crumbs or other useless fillers. Just crab crab crab. Yum-mee. There's a great bar area for watching the games, lovely indoor dining and perfectly accommodated outdoor seating. I really could eat here twice a week, although I'm sure my thighs wouldn't love me for it. The menu has so many amazing looking dishes, and I know I should venture outside of my regular order but it's just so danged good! But my hubs has had the gumbo on several occasions and raves about it, and our kids love the various po' boy sandwiches and soft shell crab. Really, there isn't one thing I see on the menu that you could go wrong with. So glad we finally ventured into Lola's.
