Trading in a vehicle at Sahara? Might think twice. We traded in an Expedition in June 2015 for a new minivan. Had some issues getting our slip to register the vehicle, but over looked that. Fast forward from June 2015 to January 2017. We get a letter from a local auto auction firm demanding $575 for our abandoned Expedition. What? We called the auto auction facility and showed trade in contract and a copy of the title that was signed over. We thought it was odd, but were preoccupied by other life priorities so disregarded the issue as just an error. Yesterday, we get a letter demanding payment for parking violations and improper registration in April 2017 for the Expedition from Las Vegas Parking Authority. What? We don't even live in Nevada anymore. Calling Sahara is like playing with a dog chasing their tail. You get passed around from one extension to another. No one wants to help and no one will tell you what happened with our Expedition after we signed it over in June 2015 to them. If you are looking to make a big purchase, or trade your vehicle you work very hard for...do yourself a favor and move down the street or across town to a dealership that has integrity.
