I've always liked Cabela's and have found their locations to have a great selection and great customer service, and this location doesn't disappoint.
I typically visit this location when I have an online order to pick up. Ordering online and having items (including ammo) shipped to the store is a great way to get what you want and have it shipped for free. The pickup process is very easy, and the employees are always competent and courteous, making sure that I have everything that I ordered and that everything is to my satisfaction before I sign and accept the order.
I also enjoy wandering here. There's a good selection of firearms, but I would rather order from a certain online retailer and pay the FFL transfer fee because the prices aren't great. The ammo selection is good. In fact, at the start of last week, I was in the store right after it opened, and there was a bunch of 22LR in stock. That's a sight I haven't seen in years.
I'd imagine that traffic can get pretty bad with the Carowinds crowd right next door, but I have yet to experience anything but a smooth trip.
