My husband and I did the LA Epic crawl again in December 2017 (and when we went in July 2017 as well). We still think it's a great deal, based on how much money (and time!) it can take to get into a club on your own. Sometimes the vibe really depends on the other people on the crawl with you, so if you are going on a crawl, make friends with the other people with you! It's always disappointing when other people on the crawl are stuck up or too into themselves to interact.
We had a great tour guide last time--I forget her name, but it was a Sunday and she was super surprised that so many people signed up. She is super awesome.
