What happened? Swensen's used to be the bomb...back when people used to say "the bomb" (or really before that). Still, with "Ice Cream Factory" as part of your name, you should be owning that! Nope, the ice cream was sub-par. I wanted a dipped cone like I remembered having as a kid. But, the cones were shrink wrapped in the counter like they'd been sitting there for days. No, no, no; that's not how you do it. You make them fresh EVERY DAY; that's how you do it! Otherwise (even with the shrink wrapping) they start tasting stale. Customers aren't stupid; we can taste the difference between fresh and not-so-fresh. Plus, I asked for Vanilla, and they sold me a French Vanilla. Blecchh! It's not the same thing. Someone needs to get Gordon Ramsay over there to kick a little @$$. He wouldn't tolerate pre-made ice cream cones either.
