I have been to the Spay Me! Clinic about 5 times over the past 3 years. I have had dentals done on dogs and a cat, neutering, blood work, and wellness appointments. I come all the way from Milwaukee for these things.
Most recently, Dr. Jackson (I hope that was her name?) performed a dental on my father's elderly cat, Snowy.
The service was outstanding. It appeared to me that she cared more about the animals than my regular veterinarian did. She took all the time necessary to talk with me about risks and concerns, and provided recommendations to better Snowy's care. She even went as far as to call me after a few days to make sure Snowy was healing well. Again, that isn't even something I would get out of my regular veterinarian.
People complain that this place doesn't offer a "relationship" like you would get with a regular veterinarian, and I would have to disagree. These people go above and beyond for an amazing cause. There are things that are unlike a typical clinic, such as potentially longer wait times, difficultly reaching reception by phone, and booking weeks in advance. But everyone here works extremely hard with limited time and resources, and they still take the time to be sure their patients and customers are comfortable and informed. On top of that, you know these people work here for the right reasons.
There are no hidden costs, no upcharges, they are only there to help you and your pet.
And, just throwing it out there, my animals always came home clean, and Snowy had access to a litterbox.
Highly recommended. If I didn't live so far, they would be my regular clinic of choice.
