I love throwing parties, but cooking is not my forte.
Luckily, McEwen Gourmet Grocery Store always comes to the rescue.
There's a cafe at the entrance of the store so you can pick up a cup of java as you peruse the rest of the store. The pastry area is great ... maybe not great if you're on a diet. You can find a variety of brownies to cupcakes to pies to danishes. There's a lot of pre-made dishes that you can purchase as well.
Basically it's like a Metro, but 10 times classier.
Come here on a Saturday and you're set for lunch.
I always manage to eat enough testers to be enough to make a meal. ;)
