I don't mind the location, it is semi close to my house, however it isn't the best place I have been to. It functions as a dive bar, but I feel it is not necessary to have special events such as drag shows or parties. The sound system isn't that great, there is an ok sized bar and a couple of pool tables and enough seats, but they have like this stage area for shows and I just think it is being used for more than it should. My biggest complaint is that I decided to pay 5 or 6 bucks for the beer bust which I was under the impression went on til at least midnight or 1pm, but instead it ended right after the drag show. Now I know that a rule is a rule, but I was not told that it would end so soon, I had time for only one beer and it ended in a few minutes. I think that if it is close to the end of a beer bust the bartender should at least tell you so you can make a decision if it is worth it or not. I don't slam my beers so I take a little longer, but still. Anyway, not the best place for a gay bar, I will definitely go to my other fave, Snick's.
