2.5 stars for Bourdreaux's. I was really excited to try cajun/creole food while visiting Charlotte, but was not that impressed by the dishes we ordered here. Our waiter was really nice and checked up on us often
The two of us decided on the jambalaya and shrimp po' boy to share:
Jambalaya- Came with a good amount of meat and seafood! but TOO SALTY. The side of cornbread was also forgettable. Dry and just whatevs.
Shrimp po boy- I liked this sandwich overall, but it just seemed like a regular fried shrimp sub. The bread was actually very fresh, and the shrimp pieces weren't small or skimpy.
The FRIES though were really CRISPY and seasoned well! My favorite part of the meal for sure. I would come back just for the fries.
This was actually a lot of food for the both of us! and we left pretty stuffed
Not sure I'd make my way back here though :/
