OMG I love all the 'lip-sync' comments, haha. Even funnier is the fact that prior to this show, I had watched Frank Marino's Divas. An LV original on lip-syncing drag-queens.
First impressions:
~ Entrance and security: The line went fast with no real issue. If you want to enter even faster, you can always hand a guard some extra (wink wink ;) cash, as I was told. But really, the line went pretty fast, as this was 25 minutes prior to showtime.
~ Nice little display set ups of different Britney outfits everywhere. As well as the concession stand/bar layout.
~ (minus one) Hated the fact that two medium gin and tonics cost $32. YES, $32 bucks! Loved the hot sexy bartender though, I gave her a smile and she hooked it up. I would simply recommend drinking prior to.
~ Loved the helpful monitors that were everywhere. It displayed a countdown so you won't be late. Very helpful as you're getting a drink. I gave myself a two minute warning.
Britney time:
~ The stage was nice and wide, so it made for non-stop dancing and motion everywhere. Excellent visuals, neon, stage props, lasers, fireworks, etc. Loved the volume level, as it almost had a rave type of vibe. The dancers seemed on-point, and I'm glad to see Britney movin' her butt. Especially after her injury two week ago.
Last impression:
~ I didn't expect a 90 minute show. A bit disappointed as it wasn't any longer. But I can't really complain as I received the tickets for free.
~ Now debating between three and four stars, minus a second star for the simple fact that: Britney made it feel like "a show". Not "a concert", but a show, and it was. In other words, she performed her part, moved her lips, danced, and was done. A thank you here and there, but it didn't seem sincere. Oh well again, who cares, I was drunk and she drove me crazy! Even the certain songs I don't particularly like were fabulous just hearing it live.
~ Thanks Britney, you just got a 'piece of me'!
