This place is not outstanding but its not horrible either. Its better than the rest but not the best. Other reviewers have gone over price points and store size, so I'll stick to my experience.
This was the first salon I went to for my first time pedicure. I have really only been to one other place. The place felt very intimidating (the staff is there to work and do their job, nothing else) and I felt too uptight to relax because I was the only person in the salon and the woman who did my feet seemed unhappy (but then again it could just be my Asian guilt coming out or Dr Phil yelling at a kid for being a drug addict). Other than this fact, I loved the selection of nail polishes (especially Essie-branded) and the massage chairs worked!
As for the pedicure itself; I felt like the extra 5 bucks for the razor was too pricey; it would have been justifiable if my calluses were gone or less thicker than it originally was (the woman hardly scraped my feet). Also, I didnt see the woman take any new nail tools out of a package and instead saw her use tools and files that were already there. I dont know about the other reviewers, but I base cleanliness on the use of sanitary tools, especially when I dont have a box of tools/kit in my name. Despite this, my polish was applied perfectly and my nails were shaped and buffed amazingly.
Overall, my experience was okay. The staff were respectful and the job was (sort of) done. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a cheap nail salon that doesnt appear sketchy or dirty from the outside.
