I wanted a cut and color while I was in town for the weekend so while shopping on Sat I saw quite a few salons that would be open the following day. On Sunday I couldn't find the salon I wanted and decided to try Couture Salon & Spa. The salon looks like a 'hole in the wall' place that sells product galore but Min was very good, he took a long time but the cut and color was pretty good considering. The reason it's 2 star is because of the price, I went up to pay and the older man rang me through at $300. To say the least I was in shock!! $300 at a hole in the wall salon, did he make a mistake, he had to be kidding!@#??? If it had been an upscale salon I could see the inflated price but not at this little hole in the wall. I asked him for a breakdown of the price, which he seemed to be able to justify. He finally took a measly $20 off. So $280 plus tip (I couldn't let poor Min go un-tipped because of the greedy owner). So if you decide to venture in - Ask for a price before having anything done!!!
