So I've passed this place a million times and always say I'm gonna stop in. So, on Monday as I was driving to Costco, I stopped short and made a quick turn to try it out. It's a very small bakery next to StarYUCKS. I walked in and they had some cookies and macarons on display. The girl said they make the best ones and I told her I was in Paris a few months ago, and she laughed and said Oh OK. But our baker is Parisian. She said they had fresh baked chocolate croissants, so of course I wanted one of those. I got the "fresh baked" croissant and a raspberry macaron. She was sweet and threw in a chocolate one for me too! The macaroons were the best I've had here in Vegas. I enjoyed both. The fresh baked chocolate croissant? It might have been FRESH at 6am, but not at 10 when I was there, so it wasn't warm and gooing with chocolate. BUMMER! It was OK, but I think she should have microwaved it for 10 seconds to really give the fresh baked feel. I'd probably go back, but now I know that I have to be there when they open to get the really fresh baked croissants.
