I was referred to Dr. Kumar by a friend. I am a winter visitor to Scottsdale and had the beginning of what I thought was a tooth ache. I went to see Dr. Kumar and it turned out that I needed to have a tooth pulled as well as a root canal. She referred me to specialist for the procedures that she could not perform. The reason for my five star review is not because she is an excellent dentist, which she is! Let's face it when you go to see a doctor you expect a certain level of competence. What sets Dr. Kumar apart is that she truly cares about her patients. After my visit (and lots of drilling) she called me at home at 8:30 PM to make sure that I was OK. Dr. Kumar is an excellent dentist AND a kind human being. I am glad that I was referred to her by my friend.
