I literally live a block away from the cracked egg so I come here often when I am craving some good breakfast food. There usually isn't a wait unless it is Saturday or Sunday morning between 8-12. In that case, the most you usually would have to wait is 30-45 minutes to get a table. Everything here is very affordable ranging between $7-15 dollars for a large portioned meal. My favorites at cracked egg: The Monte Cristo Turkey, ham and swiss cheese sandwich dipped in french toast batter and deep fried. served with hash browns or seasoned potatoes. This is absolutely amazing and hits so many of your senses that it will confuse you but it is delicious! Coconut Macadamia Short stacks are a great side to add to any of the meals. If you are looking for a healthier option, the oatmeal overload is a HUGE bowl of oats, loaded with nuts, raisins, berries, and granola on the side. Another one of my favorites is The Country Benny: a biscuit split and topped with patty sausage, two poached eggs and smothered in gravy Overall, I am a big fan of the cracked egg. The service has always been friendly and prompt. The food is good and affordable.
