So I am an admitted breakfast junkie. Not your average home town breakfast (although those are great too) but a gourmet sexy breakfast that not only looks good but can deliver exquisite taste. Crepe bar definitely does both!
I ordered a cappuccino, which did not have enough foam for my liking (check out the cap. at Merci if you like great foam), however the espresso was smooth and tasty.
A nice surprise we're the banana espresso scone tasting bites delivered to my table as I waited. They were good but more like a little dense. They had some of the tartness I expect but weren't as flaky as I like, but again, really tasty.
I got the Grand Prix crepe that is one of their special coffee crepes with an amazing espresso maple syrup, pork belly and a sunny side egg. I tried each of the components separately, supper yum but together..... I'm is breakfast heaven.
I am always glad to add some indulgence to the start of my day. The feeling of being on vacation and finding a secret gem, adds a little smile to my work day.
