I wanted to get a hair cut from a barber rather than a salon. I called Kast Iron and asked if they had availability right now. The person said in about 30 minutes they would. I hung up and right away my phone rings and a barber by the name of J-Clips says he can fit me in. Already I appreciate the hustle and customer service. You can tell they want your business rather than feel like they deserve it. I am a business owner of a retail store so I know how important it is to have great customer service. When I got there Clips was finishing up with a client then got me right in the chair. More importantly than that, as soon as I walked in he greeted me, shook my hand, and looked me in the eye as he spoke to me. He was very warm and welcoming. These guys specialize in what I would call fresh cuts; lots of fades and designs. I was more in line for a traditional cut but I let Clips have some freedom with it and he did not disappoint. When he first styled my hair I wasn't sure about it (very slicked and tightly combed) but by the time I got to the car I was a big fan. Clips also mentioned that the cut would work well with a dry look and he was right. Great fan of his work and will be back next time I'm in town.
