My 13-year-old dog and I visited Dr. John Reeve-Newson at this clinic today. All I can do is rave about him. He was very knowledgeable and genuinely kind. Right away he shook my hand and told me he prefers all of his clients to call him "John". He immediately won my dog over (this has never happened at the vet in his more than 13 years!) by only giving him affection and treats for the first while. He looked at a lump on my dog's back and said it was possible that it is a tumor, but was confident it is most likely a cyst. Then he told me that if it were his dog he would closely monitor rather than remove it. He didn't want to put my dog under any unnecessary stress given his old age. His honesty left me 100% impressed. In terms of facilities and my experience, I give this clinic 5 stars. Unfortunately, they are a bit pricey, so I only gave them 4 stars. However, the extra bucks are worth the money you could save by visiting an honest vet (not to mention being able to leave feeling confident with their advice).
