I'm torn between giving this place a 3 and a 4 because drinks this cheap downtown is an amazing find. Double vodka lemonade for $3?!? Please and thank you! But it's such a dive bar I gotta go 3.
Yes, it's a total dive bar but i like dive bars.
the restroom is actually decent...sorta classy and decorative except for some graffiti. It's a single seater though so expect to wait in line on busy nights.
The rest of the bar is truly a dive, surface mounted back boxes and exposed flexible metal conduit abound.
There's a small area for darts upstairs but it's in a walkway so pay attention! We almost took out a couple unsuspecting bar patrons...oops.
There's not a ton of space here so it can get crowded but it wasn't bad for a Saturday night...less crowded than I felt at Hopcat earlier in the evening and for cheap drinks I don't expect wide open spaces.
As with everything downtown there's no parking. Plan on using one of the ramps and hoofing it here. I think of it as pre-burning calories for a night of drinking.
