He may be great at surgery, but don't go to him if your goal is to avoid surgery. I had hip problems, and was referred here by Dr. Adams. Despite the fact that I had tons of imagery already (including multiple x-rays and an MRI), Dr. Roberson insisted on taking his own two x-rays for "different angles". Then, he gave me some bogus talk, trying to tell me my hip bone wasn't the right shape and that I had better get surgery. Once he saw I wasn't interested in surgery, he told me about this miracle pill that cures cancer and helps with inflammation called Curcumin. I bought it (it costs $120 for a two month supply), and I tried it, and it made my hip explode in pain. I had to be on Tylenol for a week to recover. Turns out, he gets kick backs if people buy the Curcumin from the Apple Wellness store on McKee. Total garbage. I am a college-educated IT professional, and I don't appreciate his slimy money-grubbing techniques. From the moment I walked in and saw the amazing, gorgeous, dark wood rotating shelves full of patient charts, and the gorgeous carpets I knew there was something weird. No patient-oriented Doctor should be making enough profits to afford such nice furniture in their office. I'm so mad that he got me to buy the Curcumin and that it caused so many problems for me. Total joke of a doctor. If you need a sports medicine Doctor, Dr. Wilson with UW Sports Medicine (just down the street from this jokester) is excellent. He is recommending three months of physical therapy, and he is just as interested as I am in avoiding surgery.
