My brother and his wife are avid Aldi shoppers, they have been telling me for a long time to check it out. Me being the stubborn man I am, who also doesn't like change, never went. I also heard that you had to pay a quarter to get a cart, another reason I clung on to helping me avoid a trip to this place. My buddy told me he hates going because you have to pay a quarter for a cart, so he thought. I went with my brother and he dug into his center console for his "Aldi quarter", it turns out you get your quarter back when you re-lock your cart. When I told my friend, he was beside himself. He always left the cart unlocked so the next customer wouldn't have to pay a quarter and be ripped off like him, lmao! Recently, I decided to give it a whirl and let me tell you,"this place is the T-ruth!" I left with a overflowing cart and spent a little over 50$, Giant Eagle that would have been 120$ easy. Mind you, it is not all brand name, but it is not rotten either. I will definitely be returning here for some time to come.
