We first went here when they opened and I think they weren't really quite ready to be opened. It had smelled overwhelmingly fishy and a lot of the exhibits seemed murky. And so initially I was disappointed. But we returned again, they had a great deal on an annual membership, and it's not too far of a drive for my toddler and I; it is the perfect respite from the heat. After returning, I was very pleased with some of the extra additions and with how everything has settled in! All the fish and other aquatic creatures seemed happy and lively, and their exhibits were large and interesting to look at. My daughter enjoys the water and coloring activities they have there. The penguins are always fun to watch. The sharks are amazing! The staff are all very friendly, helpful and energetic. We also enjoy the days they have mermaids ;P It's a beautiful aquarium!
