Today I went to Whole Foods and saw "Mac Shack." My boyfriend loves him some pasta so I decided to get us some carryout for lunch. The staff was SUPER friendly. I really felt comfortable going in there for the first time and lingering over what to choose- the girl who took my order was very helpful and patient. Thankfully there was no line on a Sunday so I didn't have to feel guilty about anyone being around me. I ordered the artichokes au gratin side dish, a Philly Cheese Steak-inspired pasta for my man, and myself a wedge salad that had prosciutto, dates and some cheese. I added sirloin on my salad for $1.75! It wasn't a lot of meat but for $1.75?! Seemed like a deal to me. Everything was great when I got home- I hadn't even double-checked my order before I left the place so that was good. The artichokes were OK but I probably won't get them again. Next time I may have to get two orders of sirloin or ask if they have a bigger salad. Sorry I look small but I eat like a horse and the salad just was not big enough. The menu states they have side salads so I'm wondering what size those are? Another thing I like about this place is you can order The Cupcakery cupcakes and I looooove Cupcakery! This seemed like a nice place. Probably will go again for a Caprese Grilled Cheese!
